The Tu Lan, Hang Ken, Hang Hung Ton, Hang Chuot and Hang Kim, Hang Song cave system is located at Tan Hoa Village, Minh Hoa District, Quang Binh. It is about 70km North West of Phong Nha. The system is spread over 4 valleys with beautiful mountains and rivers. There are beautiful stalagmites and stalactites inside the caves, small waterfalls and underground rivers making Tu Lan a unique place for adventure trekking and caving.

The tour is designed for 3 days and 2 nights trekking, giving you more time to explore the caves and enjoy the scenery. There are 2 or 3 moderate hills to cross and you will visit Ken Cave, Tu Lan Cave, Hung Ton Cave, Chuot Cave, Kim Cave, camp overnight in the jungle, and enjoy good food prepared by your guides and porters.

Tour starts at 07:00am from Phong Nha and finishes around 17:00pm at Phong Nha town.

ITINERARY:

Day 1: Phong Nha -Tan Hoa-Tu Lan (L, D)

• 08:00 Depart from Phong Nha to Tan Hoa Village
• 09:30-11:30 Visit Chuot cave and La Ken Valley
• 11:30-12:30 Lunch in La Ken Valley
• 12:30-14:00 Visit Gibbon Cave
• 14:00 – 15:30 Trek to Hung Ton valley
• 15:30-16:30 Explore Hung Ton cave and swim through Hung Ton wet cave
• 16:30 – 17:00 Prepare camp site in To Mo valley
• 17:00-18:00 Dinner, overnight in To Mo Valley

Day 2: La Ken Valley – Tu Lan (B, L, D)

• 08:00-Breakfast and start swimming through Kim cave to get to Tu lan valley
• 09:00-11:00 Trek to Tu Lan Valley,
• 11:00-12:00 Prepare camp site
• 12:00-13:00 Lunch at Campsite
• 13:00-17:00 Visit Ken Cave (swim in the cave)
• 17:00-18:00 Dinner, overnight in Tu Lan valley

Day 3: Tu Lan-Tan Hoa-Phong Nha (B, L)

• 08:00-Breakfast
• 09:00-14:00 Visit Tu lan cave and trek back to Tan Hoa village over the hills;
• 14:00-Lunch at local restaurant
• 15:00 Car pick-up and transfer to Phong Nha
• 16:30 Arrive Phong Nha.
